Blended Bio Diesel

Sea Foam Motor Treatment #’s SF-16, SF-128 & SF-55

Blending 5% Bio Diesel with available mandated Low or Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuels does not change the way Sea Foam Motor Treatment is used or recommended for any diesel fuel usage. However, Sea Foam does not counteract the natural thickening of the “Bio” refined additive.

Sea Foam Motor Treatment is 100% Petroleum, NOT A CHEMICAL! In Low and Ultra Low Sulfur Diesel Fuels, Sea Foam Motor Treatment:

  1. Adds Lubricity
  2. Dries Moisture/Anti-Gel for Diesel Fuel
    1. Note: The “Bio” component of BioDiesel thickens as it gets cold. This is not a Gel condition caused by moisture and is not addressed by Sea Foam Motor Treatment.
  3. Cleans fuel residues
  4. Cleans carbon deposits
  5. Stabilizes Diesel up to 2 years (at average 1 ounce Sea Foam /gallon Diesel)

Because Low Sulfur, Ultra Low Sulfur and Bio Diesel blended fuels all lack the ability to lubricate vital component parts, adding the Lubricity of Sea Foam Motor Treatment helps limit damage caused by the lack of lubrication in these new fuels.

Because Low Sulfur, Ultra Low Sulfur and Bio Diesel blended fuels all absorb moisture from the atmosphere, adding Sea Foam Motor Treatment drives out moisture to vent back to the atmosphere.

All fuels leave a residue in the system that collect contaminants and hinder proper operation of that system. Sea Foam’s ability to dissolve those residues gently back into a liquid state allows those contaminants to flow and be filtered out, helping the system to operate properly.

Sea Foam also cleans carbon out of the upper cylinder areas while the engine is run, and is a great fuel stabilizer.
